about

This was recorded many years before it would end up on Acne/Ears. We wrote it in my basement and developed the arrangement with the band on tour during soundchecks. I remember playing it live for the first time at The Bug Jar in Rochester, opening for this great local band called Auld Lang Syne. Not sure if the venue or band still exist but I hope they do. My dad’s from Rochester, I was proud to tell him we were playing there. Felt like I’d arrived.
