Recorded by Rich during the same session as “On the Lamb.” John wrote the words, I sang them. For a long time we toyed with the idea of having three lead singers (me, John, and Rich) but in the end it made sense for John to do it. I was extremely self conscious about singing and it was during these early years that, with some encouragement from the band, I tried to do it some more. I used to sing “Sunday Morning Coming Down” at some of our early shows just to get the cobwebs off.
